Meet Our Training Team

Amihan Jennifer Matias

Amihan Jennier Matias is founder of KAPWA Racial Equity and Transformation LLC, and founder of Dance the Dream Coaching and Consulting and is an organizational consultant, leadership coach and trainer on racial equity and cultural humility. She has established a number of cutting edge and nationally recognized leadership development programs. These have included an executive coaching project, a management training institute, and a six-month leadership forum for women of color nonprofit leaders. Amihan is a social justice activist and a deeply committed community leader. She is a founding member of Massachusetts Asian and Pacific Islanders (MAP) For Health and has served on the board of the Asian American Resource Workshop (AARW). Amihan was also involved in the launching of the Welcoming Massachusetts Campaign of the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition, a campaign to welcome and facilitate the positive integration of immigrants and refugees into their Massachusetts communities. Amihan is a life and leadership coach, and received her training through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), a program accredited by the International Coach Federation. Amihan is also a multicultural diversity trainer, and is certified as a trained mediator in the state of MA. She has her degree in social work from Salem State University and is a graduate of the Institute for Nonprofit Management and Leadership at Boston University School of Management.

Lorraine Lafata, M.S.W., LICSW

Lorraine has more than 30 years of experience working with individuals and groups. She is a facilitator, trainer, and licensed social worker who works primarily with nonprofit organizations.  She has co-designed continuing education curriculum for Self Esteem Boston Educational Institute, and has facilitated Self Esteem Boston’s continuing education trainings for group leaders statewide in the area of advanced facilitation skills.  In addition to her training experience, she has a private practice and provides clinical supervision to human service programs. She is a part of Self Esteem Boston’s statewide professional development and continuing education training team.

Polly Goddard

With over 25 years of experience in using coaching principles to help people identify and develop their strengths, Polly has honed her skills in engaging individuals in forward-moving processes through coaching and facilitated training. From ropes courses to the corporate boardroom, Polly’s easy-to-connect-with personality, candid and direct but gentle communication style, use of humor, and sincere interest in people achieving their goals are the keys to helping clients make significant progress. A trusting relationship encourages clients to unlock their full potential in a safe, collaborative, supportive environment. Polly is a certified Executive Coach and Training Facilitator who uses a variety of tools to facilitate discussions that help clients understand themselves on a deeper level. This self-awareness contributes to increased insight, enhanced performance, and greater overall satisfaction while also learning to understand others more instinctively and work together more productively.

MONIQUE MORIMOTO, M.ED

Monique is an experienced trainer, community educator, and coach with 20+ years of experience within a variety of settings.  She is the Founder of Soulworks Coaching, and is the co-founder of Coaching4Value. Her expertise is human and organizational development, stress management and coaching. She is a member of the International Coach Federation of New England.  She has developed and delivered effective, experiential workshops and retreats to organizations on topics such as Life Balance, Self-Esteem, Stress Management, Overcoming Negative Thinking, Communication, Bringing Spirituality into Conflict Negotiation, The Creative Heart: Moving Forward, and Creating Sacred Space. She co-authored 2 books on Women’s Wellness as part of the Professional Woman Network Library, and created, produced and developed a successful, popular guided meditation CD, The Soul’s Intent© 2003. Monique has completed Self Esteem Boston’s four-day group leader training program, and is a part of Self Esteem Boston’s statewide professional development training team.

DEBORAH LINETT

Deborah Linett, M.Ed, CPCC, PCC, ORSCC has over 30 years of experience as a nonprofit director and coach. She is certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) specializing in leadership development by the Coach Training Institute (CTI). Deborah is certified by CRR Global (ICF) in Organization, Relationship Systems Coaching. She provides leadership training for private organizations, state associations and coaches individuals and couples. Deborah served as Deputy Director of a nonprofit organization. Under her leadership, she revitalized a failing community service program. She is passionate about creating a workplace environment and culture that is inclusive and reflective of the organization’s mission and purpose producing satisfying results for both the employee and the employer. Deborah is the Founder of Sentient Leadership LLC. She is a graduate of Self Esteem Boston’s Facilitator Qualification training program.

Suzanne Kratzig, CPC, ELI-MP

Suzanne Kratzig, CPC, ELI-MP, is a Certified Professional Coach, Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership™ Index, and a Licensed TIMBo (Trauma-Informed Mind-Body) Facilitator with more than 20 years of experience in education, nonprofits, and workforce development. She brings a trauma-informed lens and a deep understanding of stress, resilience, and human potential to her coaching and facilitation work.

As the founder of Turtle Fire Coaching Training, Suzanne partners with individuals and mission-driven organizations to help people interrupt the stress response cycle, reconnect with purpose, and lead with clarity, confidence, and compassion. Her coaching blends energy leadership, experiential learning, and mind-body awareness to help clients shift out of survival mode and into sustainable impact.

Suzanne has designed and led programs for educators, emerging leaders, and teams across a range of settings, including community-based organizations and state-funded workforce initiatives. She is a graduate of Self Esteem Boston’s Facilitator Qualification training and leads workshops supporting new leaders and supervisors in building inclusive, empowering workplace cultures.
